Fairfield was an interesting choice for my recent corporate retreat, strategically located yet marred by exceptionally loud street traffic. My request for a room on the quieter side was overlooked, resulting in a less-than-peaceful night. Windows seemed thin, allowing the incessant hum of revving engines to invade my thoughts long into the night. The business amenities proved functional. The meeting room, spacious at 1323 square feet, facilitated productive sessions without distractions. For remote working, the free in-room WiFi was reliable, enabling me to catch up on emails. Despite the room’s clash with my peace preference, the staff were commendable – they even located my jewelry after I checked out, showcasing their integrity. Their friendliness made interactions pleasant throughout my stay, further enhanced by a solid air conditioning system, which was essential in the summer heat. In short, while the location needs improvement in terms of sound insulation, the space itself and the honest, accommodating staff create a pragmatic environment for business travelers seeking solace and professionalism.
